flydubai to serve Prague with daily flights
Dubai-based flydubai has announced that it will begin daily operations to Prague from July 1st, up from four weekly flights, reports Phil Blizzard. Ghaith Al Ghaith, chief executive of flydubai, told Breaking Travel News: “We are delighted to offer more flights to Prague which remains a popular destination for our passengers in the GCC.”
No survivors in flydubai crash
A Boeing 737-800 passenger jet operated by the low-cost carrier, flydubai, has crashed in the Russian city of Rostov-on-Don, killing all 55 passengers and seven crew on board.

Dubai International welcomes 6.7m passengers in July
Dubai Airports has announced that 6.68 million passengers passed through Dubai International in July -up 29.6 per cent from the same month last year when traffic numbers were affected by a runway refurbishment programme. Passenger numbers in July totalled to 6,682,676 compared to the 5,155,771 handled in July 2014 when the airport was reduced to one runway while a $1bn refurbishment programme was conducted over an 80 day span.

Dubai-based flydubai reveals three new destinations
Dubai-based flydubai has announced the addition of three new routes to its growing network. Flights to Hargeisa in Somaliland, India’s Chennai, and Nejran in Saudi Arabia will commence in the first quarter of 2015, further expanding the carrier’s footprint to 89 destinations in 46 countries. From March 5th flydubai will become the first carrier to operate to Hargeisa, Somaliland from Dubai with four weekly flights.
