Savvy strategies steer Europcar through bear market
Rapid-response fleet cuts and integrated cost synergies have helped Europcar post a resilient set of annual figures, despite a sharp slump in demand due to the downturn. The car hire giant posted a stable revenue of €2.1 billion, up 0.5 percent, despite an unprecedented contraction of demand in second half, whilst consolidated growth was 2.2 percent higher.

UK businesses face gridlock, says Europcar
A survey of over 300 businesses by leading vehicle rental company, Europcar, has revealed the impact traffic congestion is having on an already struggling UK economy. Over 70% of businesses said that congestion is impacting the effectiveness of their staff travelling for work and 80% said they felt that congestion on the UK’s roads is getting worse.
