Etihad Airways launches Meet & Greet service at Abu Dhabi airport
Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, has launched a Meet & Greet service for guests arriving on Etihad Airways flights at Abu Dhabi International Airport. The service can be booked up to 48 hours before travel and is designed to make it easy and quick to collect luggage and pass through Abu Dhabi immigration and customs.
Etihad steps up frequencies to key destinations
Etihad Airways will increase frequencies on services to Amman, Cairo, Islamabad and Muscat from June 15, 2013. The new frequencies support Etihad Airways’ pledge to provide a seamless travel experience for passengers from across the region.

Etihad expands KLM partnership with Amsterdam route
Etihad Airways and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines have entered the second phase of their strategic partnership following the launch of the Abu Dhabi-based carrier’s flights to Amsterdam. The daily service, operated by a two cabin Airbus A330-200 and configured to carry 262 passengers with 22 in Pearl Business Class and 240 in Coral Economy Class, was launched earlier and carries KLM’s KL code.
Etihad Airways acquires three services companies in Abu Dhabi
Etihad Airways has finalised the agreement to acquire three airport services companies which will accelerate and consolidate the development of in-flight catering services, ground handling and cargo operations at Abu Dhabi International Airport. Formerly part of Abu Dhabi Airports Company, the three companies, Abu Dhabi Airport Services, Abu Dhabi In-Flight Catering, and Abu Dhabi Cargo Company, are being incorporated, subject to receipt of regulatory approvals, into Etihad Airport Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of Etihad Airways.
GCAA signs MoU with Etihad Airways
The United Arab Emirates’ (UAE) General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Etihad Airways to open and operate a permanent Satellite Licensing Office at the airline’s Abu Dhabi headquarters.

Etihad Cargo updates summer schedule to meet new demands
Etihad Cargo has updated its 2013 summer schedule to reflect a significant investment in capacity, a number of frequency increases, as well as new freighter routings and destinations. From June, Etihad Cargo’s freighter fleet of nine aircraft will operate additional frequencies from Abu Dhabi to Benghazi, Dhaka, Frankfurt, Guangzhou and Khartoum.
