Emirates and Kuwait Airways ink interline agreement to strengthen travel options
Kuwait Airways and Emirates have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to develop an interline agreement, offering passengers increased flight options to Dubai and beyond. The MoU was signed at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) in Dubai, reflecting a step forward in strengthening cooperation between the two carriers. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Kuwait Airways Chairman, Captain Abdulmohsen Salem Al-Fagaan, and Emirates’ Deputy President, and Chief Commercial Officer, Adnan Kazim, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive Emirates Airline & Group; and the President of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Kuwait, Sheikh Eng. Humoud Mubarak Al-Humoud Al-Sabah. The signing ceremony was also attended by other officials of each airline’s executive management and partnership teams.
ATM 2025: Emirates strikes 8 deals to power global tourism growth
Emirates signed eight memoranda of understanding (MoUs) with tourism boards across Asia, Europe and Africa on the opening day of Arabian Travel Market (ATM), in a move aimed at strengthening inbound tourism flows to multiple destinations. The airline inked agreements with tourism authorities from Sharjah, the Philippines, Maldives, Britain, Thailand, Japan, Uganda and Hungary, to drive visitor traffic across its network of more than 140 destinations.

Emirates and Hapag-Lloyd Cruises, two world-class travel brands, have today announced a partnership to offer travellers combined luxury cruise and air travel experiences in the form of special packages. Emirates and Hapag-Lloyd Cruises aim to create seamless connectivity for cruise travellers, underpinned by a high-end proposition for luxury air and sea journeys.
Emirates expands retrofitted A380 and Boeing 777 services footprint to 8 more cities
Emirates will introduce a slew of Boeing 777 and Airbus A380s with upgraded cabins to 8 more cities on its network in the coming months. The airline will roll out its refreshed A380s to Bangkok, Hong Kong, Nice and Perth and its upgraded Boeing 777s to Madrid, Kuala Lumpur, Phuket and Frankfurt, as well as another refitted Boeing 777 service to Dublin*.

Emirates renews partnership with Olympique Lyonnais until 2030
Emirates, the world’s largest international airline, has extended its partnership with Olympique Lyonnais, one of the most iconic clubs in the French league. The airline will remain the club’s shirt sponsor for another five years, until the end of the 2029-2030 season. Emirates introduces newly retrofitted A380s to Manchester and Milan
Emirates will be introducing its newest Airbus A380s fitted with its latest cabins, including Premium Economy, to Manchester and Milan. The latest retrofitted A380s will operate on EK017/018 to Manchester from 6 June, and on EK091/092 to Milan from 1 July. *
Emirates Joins Aviation Circularity Consortium
Emirates has joined the Aviation Circularity Consortium (ACC), along with SL Metals, with the aim to unlock the circular economy for aviation. The airline’s participation marks the continued growth of the ACC and reinforces its commitment to accelerate supply chain decarbonisation through high-value circularity, following the Consortium’s milestone launch of its 2050 Industry Roadmap in November 2024. Emirates has embedded recycling and circular solutions within its operations as part of its sustainability strategy. From cabin interior upcycling and incorporating more sustainable materials in its products to inflight initiatives and waste reduction programmes, the airline continues to explore innovative ways to reduce its environmental footprint. By joining the ACC, Emirates will contribute to advancing circular aviation innovations, further strengthening the Consortium’s collaborative momentum.
