Emirates Partners with Airbus to Enhance Fleet Efficiency and Reliability

Emirates has signed a partnership with Airbus to implement the Skywise Fleet Performance+ (S.FP+) predictive maintenance solution and Core X3 analytics platform, aiming to enhance the performance and reliability of its Airbus A380 and A350 fleets. The integration of real-time data will allow Emirates to monitor aircraft health, identify issues during flights, and minimize unplanned maintenance, increasing efficiency and reducing downtime. This move is part of Emirates’ strategy to optimize operational reliability and enhance the customer experience. The airline is also advancing its maintenance technology with innovations like drone-assisted inspections and virtual reality for aircraft servicing.

Emirates will restart services to Beirut, Lebanon from 1 February 2025 with a daily flight. The airline will also reinstate daily services to Baghdad in Iraq on the same day. From February, Emirates’ daily flights to Rafic Al Hariri International Airport will be served by a Boeing 777-300ER in three classes, offering more than 5,000 seats both ways each week, and adding more choice, increased comfort and enhanced connectivity from Beirut to Dubai and onwards to the airline’s network of more than 140 destinations.

The inaugural designation is set to be formally awarded by the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES) in the coming months, when more than 30,000 Emirates cabin crew and ground staff will have completed the initial training.
