Emirates upgrades to A380 on Mauritius route
Emirates has announced that it will commence a daily Airbus A380 service from Dubai to Mauritius from December 16th 2013. The aircraft will operate as flight EK 701 on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays and EK 3701 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, departing from Dubai International Airport at 03:10 and arriving in Mauritius at 09:40.
Emirates Aviation Experience opens in London
London’s latest visitor attraction, the Emirates Aviation Experience, was officially opened today by mayor Boris Johnson and Tim Clark, president of Emirates Airline. The Emirates Aviation Experience, which cost in excess of £4 million, will take visitors on an interactive journey into the world of flight.
Emirates flies past 20 years of service in Oman
Emirates is marking 20 years of service to Muscat today, having carried nearly 2.4 million passengers on the route since flights began on 1st July 1993. Amongst the first to offer his congratulations was Finance Manager Sadiq Khaliq, Emirates’ longest serving Omani member of staff who joined dnata’s Finance department in 1969 before moving to Emirates when the airline was formed 16 years later.

Sultan takes over at Emirates SkyCargo
Nabil Sultan, whose career spans more than 20 years in commercial roles within Emirates, has been appointed the new divisional senior vice president, Cargo. Nabil takes over from Ram Menen, who retired from Emirates earlier this month.

Emirates prepares to launch Stockholm flights
