The Emirates Group has today announced it 25th consecutive year of profit and company-wide growth ending the year in a strong position despite continuing high fuel prices and a weak global economic environment. Emirates to start services to Stockholm

Solution sought for Dubai immigration delays
Emirates president Tim Clark has described long hold-ups at immigration at Dubai International Airport as regrettable and said the delays “were a matter of high priority which we would hope to solve within weeks”. Speaking in Dubai at the recent press conference to welcome the Emirates-Qantas partnership, Clark said that the delays were “a victim of the airline’s (Emirates) success”.
Emirates set to launch first transatlantic flight
Connecting mainland Europe with North America, Emirates will launch a direct service between Milan and New York, the airline’s only trans-Atlantic service, from October 1st 2013. Linking Italy directly with America, the new route will provide an important connection between Continental Europe and the US, allowing Emirates to capitalise on the significant traffic flow between these cities and giving both leisure and business travellers more choice and added convenience.
