The first day of the easyJet promotion offered through The Times has seen what is believed to be the most commercial transactions carried out on the internet in Europe within a 24 hour time period. More than 13,000 seats were sold on the internet during the first 24 hours of the promotion which began at 3pm on Tuesday September 29th. This accounts for 40% of total promotional sales.
