Allianz Global extends deal with easyJet in Europe

easyJet adds service between Iceland and Ireland
easyJet has launched the first direct service between Belfast and Reykjavik. The flight operates twice per week on Mondays and Fridays on a 156 seater Airbus A319 and is the only direct service between the two destinations.
easyJet sees increase in passenger numbers drive up profits
Low-cost carrier easyJet has revealed a 21.5 per cent increase in annual pre-tax profits, as rising passenger numbers drive up figures. Luton-based easyJet saw profits rise to £581 million for the year ended September 31st, up from £478 million for 2013. An increase of seven per cent also saw the carrier welcome 64.8 million passengers.
easyJet plans 26 summer routes
easyJet will operate 26 new routes next summer including two, Essaouira in Morocco and Stuttgart in Germany, which are new destinations for the airline. The new routes on sale will provide over 420,000 additional seats across the entire easyJet network.

easyJet has revealed plans for four new routes from the airport to Lanzarote, Catania, Porto and Gibraltar from Summer 2015.

easyJet is launching six new routes from Amsterdam alongside some additional frequencies. easyJet improves booking app with passport scanning technology
easyJet has launched a new passport scanning function to its award-winning mobile app, making it the first European airline to have such a feature. The app, which has been downloaded over ten million times to date, now enables customers using an iOS or Android device to scan their passport details using their mobile phone camera making it quicker and easier to check-in.

easyJet has today has announced its peak summer schedule for 2015 by placing a record number of flights on sale.
