Dubai Metro appreciates the value of lands and properties
The Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) stated that the Dubai Metro project, since operated in 2009, has had a positive contribution to the appreciation of the value of lands & commercial properties in the vicinity of the metro stations as well as areas linked by the feeder bus service by as much as 7 to 34%.
Dubai Airports in green focus
Dubai Airports’ conservation efforts are paying environmental and financial dividends as the organisation reported the results of 2011 energy and fuel saving initiatives that reduced CO2 emissions by 72,793 tonnes, saved 131.9 million gallons of water and achieved US$4.33 million in fuel savings.

Dubai International passengers soar
Dubai International’s monthly passenger traffic has surpassed the 4.5 million mark for the second month in a row, according to a report by Dubai Airports. The airport, which currently has an annual capacity of 60 million passengers, will step this up to 75 million passengers by next year with the opening of Concourse 3, an A380 facility dedicated for use by Emirates Airline.
