Wratten takes over leadership of CTI

CTI, the leading regional business travel provider, has announced the appointment of Clive Wratten as its chief executive.

Wratten, 52, joined CTI in June 2015 as commercial director, and since joining has already restructured the sales and client management teams and evolved CTI’s positioning to be a Travel Partnership Company.

Ian White, the previous chief of CTI, has taken a new role within the company of Value Innovation Partner, where he will lead the development of new products and services, and markets, for CTI, its clients and partners.

Dick Porter, chairman of CTI, said: “Clive has made a considerable positive impact on our company since he joined us earlier this year and is absolutely the right person to lead our company forward following Ian’s successful stewardship of CTI over many years.”

“These changes are part of our long term strategic plan for CTI, and Clive’s role will be to lead CTI in its next phase of growth and evolution.”

Before joining CTI, Wratten was general manager, UK at Etihad Airways where he implemented a new commercial strategy that saw UK revenues grow from £65 million to £250 million.

He has also held senior roles with HRG and Gulf Air.
