Usain Bolt opens Tracks & Records location in Ocho Rios, Jamaica

Olympian Usian Bolt arrives at Tracks & Records in Ocho Rios, Jamaica

Athletics superstar Usain Bolt has opened Jamaica’s latest Tracks & Records franchise at the New Pineapple Shopping Centre in Ocho Rios.

The franchise is the latest tourism hotspot in the busy resort town on the north coast of the country.

The Jamaican-themed restaurant was developed to capitalise on the global appeal of brand Jamaica, and to celebrate the success of the world’s fastest sprinter.

In addition to bars, lounge areas and dining stations, the restaurant boasts over 200 seats, a mezzanine, VIP areas, hi-tech booth seating, and a retail shop that carries exclusive brand Bolt products.

Bolt recently completed an unprecedented ‘triple-triple’, taking the 100m, 200m, and 4x100m gold medals at the 2008, 2012 and 2016 Olympic Games in Beijing, London and Rio de Janeiro respectively.

The Tracks & Records location is the second to open, following the original property in capital Kingston roughly four years ago.

The KLE Group, which owns the franchise, is eyeing locations in the United States, United Kingdom and the Middle East for potential future openings.
