Garcia will lead Uniworld’s sales operations as an integral member of the company’s executive management. He brings to Uniworld extensive experience in business development, group sales, national account development, sales, marketing, and product innovation.
Prior to joining Uniworld, Garcia has spent more than 20 years in travel, including sales positions at Norwegian Cruise Line, Premier Cruise Lines, and most recently Crystal Cruises. “Having worked for Crystal, Person is extremely well qualified to represent a luxury brand and brings a very high level of enthusiasm and customer centricity that will serve both Uniworld and our sales team very well,” said Guy Young, President and CEO of Uniworld. “I believe that he will be an outstanding fit for Uniworld.”
In his new role, Garcia will be working closely with Nancy Logan, the newly appointed Vice President of National Accounts and Jennifer McLeod, the Director of Sales. Nancy and Jennifer will both report directly to Person. “We now have in place an extremely strong executive sales team that will ensure that Uniworld remains extremely valuable and relevant to our travel agent partners,” says Young.
Garcia holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Loyola Marymount University and graduated Magna Cum Laude. He is well respected within the cruise industry, being named “Top Young Cruise Line Executive—Fast Track to Success.”
