New deliveries see EVA Air expand trans-Pacific options
EVA Air has taken delivery of two new Boeing 777-300ERs, both fully line-fitted with AeroMobile’s in-flight connectivity service.
The aircraft took their delivery flights from Boeing’s Seattle headquarters in the US to Taipei in Taiwan earlier.
The two B777-300ERs are the first of seven new aircraft that will be delivered to EVA Air with in-flight mobile services from AeroMobile activated.
Following the delivery, EVA Air is expanding its trans-Pacific routes to North America.
Effective from today, Taiwan’s leading independent airline will increase its North American services from 45 flights per week to 55 – providing more flights from North America to Taipei than any other airline.
By increasing capacity on its North American services by 22 per cent, passengers of EVA Air can enjoy greater convenience and extra flights to Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Toronto and Vancouver.
As it places these new Boeing 777-300ERs in service, EVA Air has created new interiors that are both stylish and relaxing.
Design firm, Teague, took inspiration for the airline’s cabins from the views outside the windows during flight.
Highlighting its commitment to using natural products, EVA Air is now serving Fiji Water in Royal Laurel class.
This popular premium-bottled product hails from Fiji where it is collected in the Yaqara Valley on Viti Levu Island.
