Independent Journeys, a division of Travcoa’s newly formed Private Travel category, offers a stable of locally hosted, set itineraries that are available to travelers on most desired departure dates.

Travcoa’s journey planners used 55 years of travel research and experience to design the Independent Journeys, which are ideal for solo travelers, couples, families and small groups of friends. The pre-priced itineraries include locally guided sightseeing, accommodations, private car transportation and transfers, some meals and Travcoa’s medical and travel assistance plan.

For example, a seven-day journey through India’s Golden Triangle includes stops in Delhi, Jaipur and Agra; visits to Taj Mahal and Hawa Mahal among other temples and palaces; accommodations at Taj and Oberoi hotels; and more. The journey costs from $2,775 per person.

Also the eight-day Egypt Independent Journey begins in Cairo every Wednesday and travels to the ancient treasures in Aswan, Edfu, Esna and Luxor. Guests meet a renowned Egyptologist and cruise the Nile River for three nights aboard the Sonesta St. George I. The journey costs from $5,170 per person.
