The British Virgin Islands Invites Travellers to Slow Down and Save During the 2026 Unrushed Season
This summer and fall, the British Virgin Islands Tourist Board & Film Commission invites travellers to embrace the destination’s Unrushed Season, a more relaxed time of year when fewer crowds, greater availability and seasonal offerings make it a great time to experience the British Virgin Islands at a slower pace.
Spanning the destination’s shoulder season, typically from July to early November, the Unrushed Season offers travellers more space to unwind on pristine beaches, island hop and sail around the archipelago, explore dive sites and enjoy the BVI’s restaurants, resorts and local culture. With reduced seasonal rates and special packages across the Territory, visitors can also find greater value while enjoying many of the same experiences that make the BVI an inviting year-round destination.
“The British Virgin Islands offers a naturally relaxed and unhurried way to experience the Caribbean, and the Unrushed Season gives travellers even more time to connect with our people, explore each island and appreciate the archipelago’s natural beauty,” said Clive McCoy, Director of Tourism, the British Virgin Islands & Film Commission. “Our festival season is also in full swing during this time and with the added bonus of seasonal savings, travellers can immerse themselves in the destination’s culture and create a visit that feels even more personal, meaningful and distinctly BVI.”
