Adventure travel brand for 18-30’s reveals name change and major rebrand

A leading travel specialist for 18-30’s has undergone a major rebrand and name change, reflecting changing youth travel trends.

Founded in 2011, Gap 360 is now Adventure360. The new brand reflects the company’s evolution beyond the traditional gap year market, positioning it to inspire and support a wider audience of young people looking to travel, work and volunteer abroad.

Jane McLellan-Green, Co-Founder and Operations & Sales Director, said: “We are well established as the experts in youth travel, with over 15 years of experience helping travellers aged 18-30 explore the world. But travel trends have evolved. Financial pressures, fewer people taking the traditional University route to employment, and an appetite for more adventurous life experiences well into the 20s and 30s - means that the traditional ‘gap year’ has become less common.

“In 2011, bookings for trips of a year or more were very common, whereas now, ‘going travelling’ just as likely means a longer, more adventurous holiday from work or study. Shorter trips interspersed with work to replenish funds is a much more popular way now for young adults to travel and the most common tour length is around three-weeks. Trips are more frequent, with many repeat bookings, and these combined changes led us to our decision to rebrand as Adventure360.”

The transformation includes a new logo, website domain, colour palette, tone of voice and social handles. The new identity and website have been designed in conjunction with YoYo Design and Adido Digital, with the complete journey taking around a year.

James Jeremy, Co-Founder and Technical Director, said: “Adventure360.com is a new and improved version of the site, retaining the core infrastructure while refreshing every section to enhance the overall user experience. Alongside the redesign, we’ve optimised our content and expanded our expert-led advice to improve discoverability across both traditional search and emerging AI-powered platforms, ensuring our content is well positioned for LLMs.  The new design and colour palette is designed to appeal to our core audience, while modernised iconography aligned with our social channels creates a more consistent brand experience.”

To celebrate the rebrand, a competition is being held giving one person the chance to win their next five years of travel. The 5 Years of Travel giveaway is open to travellers aged 18-35 (at the time of travel) and is worth more than £11,000. The prize can be taken as five individual trips or one big round the world experience. The trips included are to Morocco, Thailand, Bali, Australia and Brazil. Travel dates can be flexible to suit the winners availability and £2,500 flight credit is included in the prize value. The competition is open until 31 December 2026; no purchase is necessary and entries can be made via the website or social media channels. McLellan-Green continued: “The new name reflects the breadth of experiences we offer today. It enables the company to build on its heritage in gap years and working holidays, while broadening its appeal to a new generation of young travellers, seeking adventurous holidays and experiences beyond the traditional ‘gap year’ label.”

Adventure360 offers over 200 trips in more than 50 locations worldwide, including Africa, Asia, Oceania, Europe, Central and South America, the Middle East, Antarctica and North America. Trips range from a week to 2+ years, and travel styles include adventure trips and group tours, gap years, volunteering and conservation projects, working holidays, and educational / vocational experiences.
Recent booking trends reveal growing demand for accessible short-haul adventures, with Croatia, Morocco and Italy among the fastest-growing destinations. China is also proving increasingly popular, with tour bookings showing strong year-on-year growth over the past six months.
