Travel search site Skyscanner has confirmed it will acquire Barcelona-based hotel search company Fogg.

Following the deal, Skyscanner will integrate Fogg’s hotel search into its site.

The move will be completed by the end of 2013 and will expand the hotel coverage on the Skyscanner website.

Skyscanner will also opening a new office in Barcelona, where five Fogg staff are based.

The company recently confirmed it would create 250 jobs as it seeks to expand globally, and recently opened a Miami hub office.
