While Sium is trading beachfront views for DC’s 14th street corridor, the Montgomery College graduate is no stranger to the mid-Atlantic region, as he started his career working up through the ranks at many Washington area hotels before joining Kimpton in 2008.

Sium worked as assistant general manager at both Kimpton Hotel Monaco Baltimore Inner Harbor and Kimpton Hotel Monaco Washington DC before taking on his first general manger role at Kimpton Vero Beach Resort & Spa in Vero Beach, Florida.

In his spare time, Sium enjoys hiking with his family and golfing but his true passion is travel having visited more than 40 countries.

He resides in Maryland with his family and looks forward to spending time in his favourite Washington-area stomping grounds.
