Moving from her role as head of the short-haul business unit, she has extensive experience in product and revenue management having previously held roles at Saga including head of product and revenue management since 2011.

Goodwin has spent more than 20 years in the travel industry with varied roles most notably including head of product and commercial for Monarch and head of product, commercial and purchasing, at Cosmos Tours & Cruises.

Commenting on the promotions Maria Whiteman, managing director of Saga Holidays, said: “In order to meet our ambitious plans for the coming year we needed to structure our travel product, purchasing and pricing teams for future growth.

“I have therefore created two key director roles, reporting to me, that will help lead this area of the business.

“I am delighted that we are able to fill these roles from within our business thanks to the talent we have within the existing travel teams.”
