Pegasus Among the World’s Top Five Most Punctual Airlines

According to the June 2026 On-Time Performance (OTP) report from aviation data and analytics company OAG, Pegasus Airlines ranked fifth in the world in the ‘Major Airlines’ category for carriers operating more than 20,000 flights in the month - with an on-time performance of 83.10%.

The On-Time Performance report, published monthly by OAG, analyses data from millions of flights worldwide. Under OAG’s methodology, a flight is considered on time if it arrives within 15 minutes of its scheduled arrival time. Cancelled flights are counted as not on time.

In the ranking of global airlines operating more than 20,000 flights in June, Pegasus ranked fifth behind Qantas, Avianca, IndiGo and SAS. Pegasus operated more than 20,000 flights in the period while keeping its cancellation rate at 0.26% - among the lowest of any major airline worldwide.

Pegasus Airlines CEO Güliz Öztürk commented: “For us, punctuality is not just an operational performance indicator - it is an important part of the promise we make to our guests. This result is a reflection of our investments in technology, our commitment to continuously improving our operations, and the strong coordination of our teams. We will continue working with the same determination to offer our guests a reliable, on-time and high-quality travel experience on every journey.”
