Parc Astérix Celebrates Its 35th Anniversary a New Season Full of Surprises to Enjoy from 30th March

A new attraction: The Tower of Numérobis, a brand-new musical: C’EST DU DÉLIRE!, new characters, a new float for the Gaulish Parade… for 2024, Parc Astérix has a whole host of new attractions to surprise its visitors as it celebrates its 35th anniversary.
C’EST DU DÉLIRE ! THE FIRST EVER GAULISH MUSICAL

Follow the adventures of Groupidupianix and Sérotonine! One aspires to become the most illustrious bard in all Gaul, while the other dreams of becoming the first female druid. But their path to realising their dreams is not entirely free of obstacles. By joining forces, these two adventurous companions promise to spread the magic! Accompanied by 9 other actors and singers, they will perform original songs written and composed by Vidal & Salvia especially for this Parc Astérix production. After 3 years in the making, these songs will finally be heard at the Panoramix theatre (600 seats). Let yourself be amazed by the 26 amazing and innovative sets and 80 costumes, designed by professionals from all across Gaul. The time has come to experience the very first Gaulish musical, starting this spring with a 25-minute show.

A BRAND NEW GAULISH PARADE

Every season, the park offers visitors a whole host of new attractions. This year, visitors can marvel at the Gaulish Parade led by Asterix himself. The show features floats representing Cleopatra, Caesar, the Gauls and a Pirate float, with new protagonists: Captain Redbeard, Baba the Lookout and Three Legs. But there’s a new addition this year: the Spanish float with new characters: Pépé, Soupalognon & Crouton and 2 flamenco dancers. A new soundtrack, composed by Benjamin Ribolet, will set the mood for our heroes in this new Gaulish Parade. Visitors will also be treated to a scary version of the parade for Peur sur le Parc and an illuminated version for the Christmas in Gaul celebration.

This new attraction, soaring 40 metres into the air, will take its place in the Egyptian zone. Who better than Edifis to oversee this venture in his own unique way? To facilitate construction at altitude, he has designed a sort of crane with several arms, enabling the stones to be hoisted and stacked, with scrupulous attention to their proper layout. Visitors will be suspended up to 40 metres high during the three phases of this experience: the ascent, the panoramic rotation and the descent.

LE GRAND SPLATCH BECOMES THE REVENGE OF THE PIRATES - GRAND SPLATCH

After 35 years since its opening, it’s time for Le Grand Splatch to get a facelift. Created in 1989, visitors will be able to rediscover this well-known family attraction thanks to Revenge of the Pirates. Over a 627 m-long ride, visitors will be able to travel through the world of the famous Pirates from the comic strip. But watch out! The gau…the gau…the GAULS are never far away.

A NEW RESTAURANT – P’OZ KEBAB

In order to best prepare his test subjects for his experiment in collective levitation, Iris has had a new restaurant built opposite his temple in the Egyptian zone: P’OZ Kebab. It’s essential to have a full belly if you want to take to the skies!
