Montgomery Place Appoints Madalin Hotel and Table for its Historic Site

After five long years, the historic Montgomery Place estate in Hudson Valley is reopening its doors to the public. And to ensure that the property will once again be the toast of the town, Montgomery Place has designated The Madalin Group as its exclusive catering and event management team.

The Madalin Group is no stranger to historic restoration; as its best known for the transformation of the turn-of-the-century Moray Hotel into the thriving Madalin Hotel and Table. Under the supervision of Joe Cicileo, the once dilapidated property has become a critically acclaimed restaurant and 11-room hotel that continues to receive kudos from both the media and its devoted clientele.

And starting May 1st, The Madalin Group will be up and running at Montgomery Place; with all the accoutrements to host events ranging from elegant wedding affairs to corporate celebrations. Guests will once again be able to dance under the stars, take in the spectacular Hudson River views and grace the extensive grounds of the 434-acre property. Operating under the banner “The Madalin at Montgomery Place,” The Madalin Group will provide all manner of menus, florists and decor and already has plans in the work for jazz Fridays and Sunday brunches on the riverfront.

Montgomery Place, which is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places, was first established in 1802 by the widow of General Richard Montgomery, a hero of the Revolutionary War. Since then, the property has become one of the most sought after sites in the Hudson Valley region, symbolizing the fusion of nearly 200 years of American history with modern elegance.

Montgomery Place will be available starting this May 2010 through October of each year.
