SuiteLinq to Deploy Multi-Platform Digital Services at New InterContinental New York Times Square

SuiteLinq New York’s Times Square will welcome its newest luxury hotel this summer with the opening of InterContinental Hotel Group’s 607-room, 36-story property at 44th Street and Eighth Avenue.

Located in the heart of the midtown Manhattan Theater District, the impeccably designed hotel will offer guests an in-room digital experience supplied by SuiteLinq, Inc., an Exton, PA, based provider of content, connectivity, and commerce solutions for hospitality and extended-stay environments.

On the desktop in each room, guests will enjoy the SuiteLinqTM interactive portal delivered on a customized computing device that provides both standard keyboard-and-mouse as well as touch-screen navigability.  In addition to providing high-speed Internet access, SuiteLinq features interactive hotel information, amenities promotions, local guides, business services, and more – engaging features designed with the active, upscale traveler in mind.  SuiteLinq’s President, Craig Ziegler, states that, “The SuiteLinq desktop platform creates an ideal closed-loop commerce channel for the hotel and affiliated on-site restaurants, shops, and similar businesses to reach guests when they are minutes away from making purchase decisions.  This new property will have many such businesses on-site, all of which will be able to benefit from our platform’s presence.”

On the digital, high-definition televisions in each guest room, SuiteLinq will deploy its SuiteVODTM service, an IP-VOD solution that delivers the latest Hollywood releases, music, concerts, and more in standard and high definition formats.  Guests can use the remote control to access a variety of interactive hotel information and guest services content via an attractive, custom-branded interface that reflects the ambience of the hotel while giving guests quick access to a variety of entertainment features.
