Macau’s largest hotel set to open

Starwood is set to open its largest ever Sheraton hotel this September, within the Sands Cotai Central complex in Macau. Two new Marriott properties are billed to open within the development in 2015.

The 3,863-room Sheraton Macau Hotel Cotai Central, which will be the largest Sheraton hotel in the world, will also become Macau’s largest hotel to date.

Features will include three outdoor swimming pools with private cabanas and daybeds, poolside lounge. There will also be a Sine Spa with 15 treatment rooms.

Business travellers will be able to tap into over 20,000sqm of meeting space - with the pillarless Kashgar Grand Ballroom accommodating up to 5,265 people theatre-style.

“With the grand opening of the Sheraton Macao Hotel in September, we will help establish Macau as the world’s gathering place—a vacation destination for travellers of all backgrounds,” said Josef Dolp, managing director of Sheraton Macao Hotel, Cotai Central.
