KLM boosts Mediterranean flights with Air Malta codeshare deal

KLM has announced a codeshare partnership with Air Malta, the Maltese national airline, flying direct from Amsterdam.

Under this partnership, KLM will add its code and flight numbers to Air Malta’s domestic route network allowing customers to fly via KLM’s hub airport, award-winning Amsterdam Airport Schiphol and will connect with KLM’s extensive global network.

Customers for both the airlines will benefit from new services, such as through check-in for passengers with connections.

Starting with immediate effect this agreement will enable KLM to offer their customers daily services between the Dutch capital and Malta.

The flights will be operated by the Maltese airline with Airbus A319/A320 aircraft and are now on sale.
