Travels to Spain and South America have just become even more affordable: Sixt, one of the leaders in car rental, has launched a partnership with Spanish airline Iberia, market leader for flights between Europe and Latin America.

The two companies are working together to provide Iberia customers with special discounts when renting vehicles from Sixt.

The partnership covers Iberia’s bonus miles scheme Iberia plus. Holders of the Iberia plus Classic and Silver cards get up to 10 percent off every time they rent a car from Sixt, while Iberia plus Gold card holders can benefit from a discount of up to 15 percent and Iberia plus Platinum card holders receive up to 20 percent off every rental. In addition to this, cardholders can collect up to 1,600 “Avios” bonus points when they choose Sixt. The partnership is in effect worldwide.
