From August 22nd, Germanwings will be flying a new connection from Dusseldorf to London Stansted Airport.

After Heathrow, the airport is the second largest in the metropolitan region surrounding the British capital.

The north-east of London, and the many companies who have their headquarters there, are all within easy reach of Stansted.

The airport has good rail connections to Liverpool Street Station, one of the largest railway stations in the city, used by more than 300,000 people every day.

Stansted also has excellent transport links to the whole of south-east England.

Germanwings is operating the new route as twice-daily morning and evening flights on weekdays.

On Saturdays and Sundays, there is only one flight.
