Four Seasons Cairo at Nile Plaza Highlights Purifying Spa Treatments
Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at Nile Plaza will invite guests to experience a phenomenal Papaya Soother or distinctive scrub and wrap at its Spa and Wellness Centre.
According to the Spa Director Brian Hathaway, “We understand the demand that fasting places on the physical body, and have created these two intensely hydrating and soothing treatments in response. We want to enable our guests to reach another level by replenishing what the physical body has lost.”
A double peel treatment, the Papaya Soother can only be described as “heavenly,” and honours the traditional healing powers of the papaya. Guests are pampered with a five-minute foot compress and 20-minute loofah scrub before indulging in a 30-minute enzymatic papaya body wrap. This warming treatment provides a double dose of exfoliation, leaving the skin exceedingly soft. A soporific, 50-minute aroma massage using basil, patchouli and vetiver brings the Payapa Soother to a close, cocooning guests in a total sense of tranquillity.
As an alternative, visitors can indulge in a special scrub and wrap combination, which employs a bit of creative licence with ingredients typically served during the break of the fast, notably almonds and yogurt. Initially, a cleansing Nutty Scrub of almonds is rubbed all over before a hydrating Yogurt Wrap enfolds the guest. Finally, a rich body lotion is applied. If this soothing treatment takes place during the break of the fast, a fruity smoothie will be offered.
Either the Papaya Soother or Nutty Scrub and Yogurt Wrap can be topped off with an invigorating personal training session with one of the Hotel’s instructors, ideally prior to Spa treatment. The whole encounter amounts to a comprehensive, whole body experience; a tutored physical workout followed by expert exfoliation, hydration and then relaxation. Guests can happily embark on this purifying journey.
