Flybe and Avios launch new partnership

Flybe and Avios have announced that it is now possible for customers to get more value - by part paying for their flights using their accrued points.

As part of the airline’s extended Avios Travel Rewards programme, flights can be booked and partially paid directly through the Flybe website.

Flybe passengers have been able to collect Avios for two years, and now they can offset the cost of a flight with as few as 1,500 Avios and up to 4,500 Avios off the price of a one way flight.

And passengers will still collect Avios on their flight pre the discount.

This great new benefit for Flybe’s customers also simplifies and adds flexibility to the way in which customers can spend their Avios giving them discounted flights.

Flybe customers can part pay easily by simply choosing a flight on flybe.com, inputting their Avios membership number, and then selecting the amount they would like to offset against their booking.

Amy Valcik, Flybe chief sales and marketing officer said: “We are thrilled to be expanding our loyalty partnership with Avios in giving our passengers not only better value but also greater flexibility in how they can pay when travelling with Flybe.”

Flybe customers can collect up to four points for every £1 spent on Flybe flights (excluding taxes).

Avios can also be collected when flying with Flybe’s franchise partners, Loganair and Blue Islands, and they can be spent on Loganair, Blue Islands and Stobart Air; ensuring every corner of the UK is covered from northern Scotland to the Channel Islands.

Avios can also be collected with over 1,000 brands via the Avios estore on avios.com so travellers can accumulate points to spend on their flights when making their everyday purchases.
