Eurowings adds Zurich-Palma de Mallorca route to schedule

Eurowings is continuing to drive the expansion of its network to attractive holiday destinations from Switzerland.

From April, the airline will also fly from Zurich to Palma de Mallorca, initially operating four flights a week and increasing to five a week shortly thereafter.

The new connections will complement the existing offering of Swiss and Edelweiss with Eurowings already offering by far the widest range of flights to the popular holiday isle from anywhere in the German-speaking area.

The airline, part of the Lufthansa Group, is currently the second largest airline at Palma Airport.

For those taking short breaks and longer holidays, Eurowings offers perfect flights departing in each case from Zurich late morning and arriving in Palma a good two hours later on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday when the fifth flight comes into operation.

Eurowings will operate an evening flight on Sundays, allowing passengers to make good use of the weekend for a mini-break on the Balearic island with its summery climate.
