DoubleTree by Hilton proudly announces the opening of a newly renovated, upscale full-service hotel in Portland, Maine. The 219-room DoubleTree by Hilton Portland Maine, is situated directly off the Maine Turnpike, just two miles from the Portland International Jetport (PWM) and directly across from The Maine Mall, one of northern New England’s largest shopping malls. An architectural landmark in the region, known for its dual iconic circular towers, is within minutes of downtown Portland’s business and leisure attractions including the city’s Art District, historic Portland Head Light Lighthouse, the Victoria Mansion, and Old Orchard Beach with its legendary 500-foot pier stretching over the Atlantic Ocean.

Formerly a Wyndham Hotel, the DoubleTree by Hilton Portland Maine is celebrating its new affiliation with a variety of new product, service and design enhancements both inside and outside the property resulting in a dramatic facelift of the iconic towers; newly redesigned guestrooms and public spaces; a reinvented dining experience at the popular Blue Wave Grill restaurant and an extensive environmental upgrade of the hotel’s storm water treatment system to further preserve the city’s Long Creek watershed.

The hotel is owned by VanEastland, LLC and operated under a franchise license agreement with a subsidiary of Hilton Worldwide.
