DoubleTree by Hilton Oxford Belfry welcomes first guests

The beautiful countryside of Oxfordshire welcomed its first DoubleTree by Hilton property.

DoubleTree by Hilton Oxford Belfry – operated by RBH – is the latest addition to Hilton’s growing portfolio, which has an existing 51 DoubleTree by Hilton hotels in the UK and a further eight properties under construction.

The hotel is ideally located amid the lush countryside of Oxfordshire, but has the convenience of being a short drive away from the city.

Travelers can immerse in Oxford’s rich history with a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage site Blenheim Palace or take a trip to the world’s second oldest University – the University of Oxford.

Guests can also enjoy an array of nearby activities, including motor racing at Silverstone Circuit for thrill seekers, while families and nature lovers can enjoy Cotswold Wildlife Park, which has more than 260 different animals.

Guests can cosy up in one of the hotel’s 154 guestrooms, including upgraded rooms and suites with separate lounges – some featuring countryside views.

Guests can take advantage of the fitness centre, indoor pool, sauna, steam room and onsite tennis courts to re-energise.

For those looking to replenish after a day exploring the city, eight spa treatment rooms are available offering a full range of ESPA treatments, including signature rituals, facials and massages – among others.

“Nearly 16,000 tourists visit Oxford daily, so we are delighted to bring our warm, DoubleTree by Hilton welcome to the city,” said Robin Ford, general manager of Hilton Oxford Belfry.

“The hotel will be a destination for guests and locals alike to enjoy new eatery menus, the comforts of spacious guest rooms and indulge in relaxing spa treatments.”
