CLIA launches new global marketing campaign

CLIA is launching a global campaign, #ChooseCruise, running throughout this September and October in the UK, and globally throughout October, to reach agents, consumers and media.

The new campaign replaces the Plan a Cruise Month campaign which has been run by CLIA globally over the past two years.

CLIA member agents will be able to access an online toolkit to help them capitalise on the two-month promotion which will include a marketing and PR guide, plus shareable videos and imagery for their social media campaigns.

Special #ChooseCruise promotions from CLIA cruise lines will also be accessible by travel agent members online.


A special pack will be sent to CLIA members this week; and agents can join a number of special events being held throughout September and October, including events in Norwich, Manchester, Malaga, and two beach clean events in West Wittering and in Formby.

In addition, registration opens for CLIA Conference 2019 on September 12th.

CLIA has split the two months into eight weeks which have all been given a dedicated theme which will be the focus for PR, podcast and social media.

Also, CLIA will be producing videos and specially commissioned articles on each theme to help showcase how agents can use these experiences to sell more cruise.
