Explorer, writer and broadcaster Ben Fogle has developed a series of exclusive shore excursion programmes for the award-winning luxury cruise company Celebrity Cruises, continuing his role as the brand’s own ‘Destination Expert’.

Each ‘Great Adventure’ will offer guests an unprecedented opportunity to experience culture, history, famous sights and wildlife, often off the beaten track in destinations throughout Europe. The programmes are ideal for those keen to indulge their inner explorer whilst on shore. 

Highlights include speedboat rides and snorkelling with salmon in Norway, a gastronomic tour through Sicily, triathlon trails in Croatia and kayaking through the Stockholm archipelago.

The Ben Fogle Great Adventures will be available in every destination featured throughout 2014.  The first excursion will be available on the 8-night Norwegian Fjords onboard Celebrity Eclipse on 2 May 2014 starting from £1299 per person with balcony.  All guests will have the chance to experience the Norwegian salmon snorkelling by Ben Fogle.
