Starwood Promotes Jeff Drew to Vice President and Treasurer

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. announced today that Jeff Drew was recently promoted to vice president and treasurer of the corporation. In his new position, Drew will be responsible for all aspects of the Treasury functions at Starwood including worldwide capital raising, cash management, financial risk management, corporate and pension investments as well as establishing and maintaining relationships with commercial and investment bankers, rating agencies and the fixed income investment community. Drew will report to Ronald Brown, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.

“Jeff`s Starwood and prior experience make him well qualified to expand his position into the Treasurer`s role at this time,” said Brown. “He has been intimately involved in several recent financial projects, including the restructuring of Ciga, where he proved to be key to this complex transaction.”


Since joining Starwood in 1998, Drew held the position of vice president, corporate finance. Prior to joining Starwood, Drew held a variety of financial positions, including director, corporate finance at The Walt Disney Company and assistant treasurer at European American Bank.


Drew earned a BA in Economics and Mathematics from Yale University and an MBA from Duke University`s Fuqua School of Business, where he was named a Fuqua Scholar.


Drew will continue to be based at Starwood`s Phoenix corporate office. He lives with wife and three children in Paradise Valley, AZ.
