Sabre
  has named Gianni Marostica president of Airline Reservations. He will report to Tom Klein, group president of Airline Solutions business unit at Sabre.
Marostica has a broad background of international airline experience including executive positions at Air Canada. He reshaped the Sabre Consulting business over the past several years, effectively building a new practice that is a strong contributor to the Sabre Airline Solutions business unit. Marostica has been the managing partner of Sabre Consulting since 1999 and will continue to handle that responsibility for the immediate future.

Marostica`s career with Sabre began in 1995 as senior director, strategic airline accounts with Sabre Decision Technologies in Paris, France. In 1996 he was promoted to the position of vice president, airlines where he was responsible for the development of airline accounts in Europe.
