American Airlines and Miles4Sale.com have signed an agreement allowing consumers to purchase “gift baskets” of AAdvantage miles via Miles4Sale.com Web site.
Miles can be bought in quantities from 500 miles, starting at $19.95, up to 20,000 miles, with an annual limit of 35,000 miles per person. Consumers can purchase miles for themselves or send miles as a gift with an electronic greeting, by mail or FedEx. Miles4Sale gifts can be submitted immediately for credit to the recipient`s AAdvantage account.
Miles4Sale.com was launched in December 2000 in Dallas, Texas by James E. Dunne III to provide a valuable solution for consumers who wished to purchase frequent flyer miles for themselves or as gifts.
