Hotel Plaza renamed Pan Pacific
Hotel Plaza Limited has announced the renaming as Pan Pacific Hotels Group Limited, to reflect its growing reputation as a leading branded hotel management company. Pan Pacific Hotels Group also announced initiatives aimed at streamlining its operations to achieve greater synergy and efficiency. The Singapore-listed Pan Pacific Hotels Group Limited owns and manages two brands, “Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts” and “Parkroyal Hotels and Resorts”, with properties across Asia and North America. This renaming initiative follows the successful integration of the two brands into one core business since October 2008 when the Group acquired “Pan Pacific” from its holding company, UOL Group Limited.
With over 30 years of international recognition, the “Pan Pacific” brand was chosen to represent the new identity of the Group, Pan Pacific Hotels Group Limited, to leverage its strong brand equity.
“The renaming to Pan Pacific Hotels Group follows the successful integration process that now allows us to maximize brand equity as we move towards a multi-branded business,” said Mr A. Patrick Imbardelli, President & CEO, Pan Pacific Hotels Group.
The group also unveiled its new corporate logo, represented by a strong, simple and distinct “P”. The new logo represents the group’s focus and continued commitment to its key stakeholders—patrons, partners and principals.
In addition, Pan Pacific Hotels Group has consolidated its corporate headquarters in Singapore from multiple prime business district locations into a centralized new location. The move will contribute towards increasing team efficiency and enhancing group communications.

Part of the integration also included the recent launch of PANTHER Distribution System, a single distribution platform for both brands. The sophisticated platform provides customers with an improved reservation experience, while allowing Pan Pacific Hotels Group to streamline reservation operations across its two brands to achieve operational synergy and optimise revenue opportunities.
