OpenJaw Technologies opens Scandinavian based subsidiary

OpenJaw Technologies, a leader in delivering high performance travel distribution solutions to the global travel industry, today announced the creation and opening of a new subsidiary, OpenJaw Technologies Scandinavia AS, based in Oslo, Norway.The new subsidiary supports OpenJaw’s growth strategy and its ability to deliver enhanced services to its increasing customer base in Norway, Sweden and Denmark.  OpenJaw’s Scandinavian customer base already includes the leading carrier within the Scandinavian countries, SAS; Norway’s leading cruise and transport company, Color Line AS and the leading online travel brands:, and  OpenJaw’s solution portfolio has been widely deployed to address the complex needs of the Scandinavian marketplace so as to enable supplier integration, distribution channel management and the dynamic packaging of travel inventory. 

Commenting on the announcement, John McQuillan, CEO of OpenJaw Technologies said: “We have been successful in the Scandinavian marketplace to date, already counting many of the largest travel companies in the region as customers.  In order to build on this success, we are delighted to announce the opening of our new Scandinavian subsidiary which will enhance the support and service we currently offer our customers and will strengthen our commitment to the region.  Having a local presence will also enable us to address individual market requirements and further develop new business opportunities.”

The new subsidiary will be managed by Jappe Kjaer who has been appointed Regional Director for OpenJaw Technologies, Scandinavia.
