Decision in SAS Baggage Charge Action

The Supreme Court of Denmark
today delivered its judgment in an action brought against SAS by Copenhagen
Airports A/S concerning the payment by SAS for the airport company’s sorting
of baggage handled by SAS in 1999.The judgment established that Copenhagen Airports A/S was entitled to
charge for the service and ordered SAS to pay as claimed.
  The judgment delivered by the Supreme Court has the effect that Copenhagen
Airports A/S can reverse a provision made to meet the litigation risk and
recognise an interest refund. The judgment is estimated to have an aggregate
positive impact on the profit for the year of about DKK 45 million.
