It has been reported that all is well in St. Lucia following the threat of hurricane Ivan. Apart from some minor damage to the southern and southeastern shoreline everything in St. Lucia is said to be ‘great’.

A St. Lucia spokesperson suggested to CTN that all hotel plants are in good shape.

‘Our tourism product is fine and intact. We were spared and its business as usual in St. Lucia’ said Kimani .F. Goddard St. Lucia’s PR manager. She continued, ‘we do sympathise with our Caribbean neighbours who have suffered the effects of Hurricane Ivan. We have heard their news and our thoughts are with them.’
