Caesars Palace Las Vegas Selects InfoGenesis POS

InfoGenesis
announced today that Caesars Entertainment recently installed Revelation point-of-sale (POS) by InfoGenesis at Caesars Palace Las Vegas, their flagship property.InfoGenesis was selected after successful installations of Revelation at other properties owned by Caesars Entertainment including Caesars Atlantic City, Bally’s Atlantic City, Bally’s Las Vegas, and Hotel Conrad Resort & Casino in Uruguay, as well as four of their Hilton properties.

“We selected InfoGenesis because they offer the most powerful point-of-sale solution available today and back it up with service and support which meet our high standards,” said Carol Pride, Senior Vice President of Corporate Information Technology for Caesars Entertainment. “The key issues we evaluated in our decision process included capability to run all of our casinos as a single enterprise POS system, the modern character of the solution, and the quality of product and support.”

The InfoGenesis installation at Caesars Palace replaces an existing POS system and includes more than 142 IBM SurePOS 500 touch screen terminals and 44 handheld terminals. The system permits 41 separate profit centers to work as a single system to manage all food, beverage and retail transactions. Symbol handhelds run the InfoGenesis Handheld Solution to provide improved guest satisfaction and streamline service in Caesars’ fine dining restaurant, full-service bar, and poolside.

“Caesars Palace strives to provide the ultimate vacation experience for our guests,” added Pride. “The highly scalable system and open architecture design of Revelation ensure that it will continue to integrate and support complimentary property management and technologies used to keep Caesars leading its market.”

By updating their POS solution, Caesars Entertainment management now has real-time access to sales data and comprehensive reporting capabilities, and can leverage the detail of unit-level reporting to ensure that the casino succeeds in delivering a first-class guest experience.
