Opening of Raffles Canouan pushed back until July 29

The much anticipated opening of the Raffles Resort Canouan Island which was penned in for July 15 has been moved back to July 29. The resort marks Raffles first Caribbean enterprise.Raffles acquired the property, which was formerly Carenage Bay Beach Hotel & Golf Club, and spent in excess of US$30 million on remodelling.
New to the resort is an 18-hole Jim Fazio-designed golf course; the Raffles Amrita Spa with 10 cliffside and two over-water bungalow-style treatment rooms; four restaurants and bars; and the Sugar Palm Club for kids.
