United and Hertz Making Summer Travel Easier

Just in time for summer,
United Airlines and Hertz are teaming up to make
your travel easier and cheaper. Each time you purchase a ticket on United,
United Express, Ted or Star Alliance, you’ll qualify for one free* rental
day from Hertz. All United flights and Hertz rental cars associated with
this promotion are eligible to earn Mileage Plus miles.
“United is proud to join with Hertz to help make travel more affordable
for our customers,” said John Tague, executive vice president - Marketing,
Sales and Revenue. “Our customers will continue to enjoy United’s everyday
low fares, great service, extensive travel network and the benefits of our
award winning Mileage Plus program - plus, they now qualify for a free
Hertz rental day every time they fly.”

“Hertz encourages everyone to take some time off and travel this summer.
With locations throughout the U.S., Hertz can drive you just about
anywhere. We are pleased to be able to partner with United to help our
mutual customers enjoy their summer travels,” said Hertz Staff Vice
President, Marketing, Frank Camacho.

Customers who book a United flight by July 22, 2004 and also rent any size
vehicle for two or more days, including a Saturday, in the U.S., Canada
and Puerto Rico earn an additional day free from Hertz. Other restrictions
apply. See terms and conditions below for more details. In addition,
United’s Mileage Plus(R) members can also earn 50 miles per qualifying
rental day on rentals of 1 to 4 days, or 500 miles on qualifying rentals
of five days or more, as well as 1,000 miles when they book a qualifying
flight on Visit for exact terms and
conditions associated with this offer.
