Radisson Cable Beach sets wedding record

Local and international weddings have taken on a life of their own at the 700-room Radisson Cable Beach & Golf Resort in Nassau, The Bahamas, averaging more than 7 weddings each week with more than 400 ceremonies held in 2003, as a result of its Free Wedding program, free overnight stays for local weddings, on-site wedding planners, and a variety of romantic locations.
The resort’s picturesque setting on world-famous Cable Beach offers couples an ideal backdrop, an assortment of romantic ceremony locations, including a beach gazebo and two pool-side wedding gazebos, the personalised services of an on-site wedding coordinator, as well as the option to include children as part of their celebration.

Couples staying at the resort on an all-inclusive plan for a total of three nights or more can enjoy a free ceremony, complete with the services of an on-site certified wedding consultant, a marriage license, a corsage for the bride and boutonniere for the groom, the services of a clergyman, a decorated wedding cake and a complimentary bottle of champagne.

Local residents getting married at the resort will be given a complimentary overnight stay at a suite on the night of their wedding. Administrative fees apply.

“The Radisson Cable Beach & Golf Resort provides the perfect backdrop for a wedding, blending the simplicity of an all-inclusive stay with romantic ambiance, sun-kissed beaches and turquoise waters,” said Benjamin Davis, general manager of the resort.
