BMW expands Fairmont deal into United States

BMW has announced the expansion of a partnership with Fairmont Hotels & Resorts that will offer complimentary local shuttle service in BMW vehicles at all Fairmont properties in the United States.

The US program will be an extension of a program that was initially launched in Canada and will feature the BMW 750i Sedan.

Exclusive to Fairmont President’s Club, members taking advantage of the benefit may be chauffeured for a range of purposes.

For example, frequent guests can check out complimentary TaylorMade golf clubs at Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa and be driven to nearby Sonoma Golf Club for a morning on the links.

In New England, Fairmont Battery Wharf guests heading out for dinner on the town can utilise the free shuttle service for a restaurant drop off in Boston’s culinary hip North End.

For a trip to the local mall, museum, convention centre, lunch meeting or more there are myriad reasons for both business and leisure travellers to hop in for a quick ride.

“BMW is happy to expand its partnership with Fairmont and I am confident that guests who take advantage of this service will enjoy spending as much time in our vehicles as they do in their rooms at the luxurious Fairmont properties,” said Dan Creed, vice president of marketing, BMW.

“I hope that our presence serves to enhance each guest’s overall experience.”

Initially launched in 2009, the BMW/Fairmont partnership already includes all Fairmont locations in Canada and features both the BMW 7 Series Sedan and BMW X5.

The brands continue to work closely on a number of exciting co-branded marketing opportunities and will continue to extend special benefits and privileges to BMW owners staying at Fairmont properties.
