Best Western taps into mobile technology

Best Western International’s “Best Western To Go” application is now available for the iPad. The app boasts the same updated look and feel as the iPhone and Android app, with improved functionality and graphics tailored for iPad.

“Best Western To Go” for iPad includes the ability to research and book hotels for over 4,000 Best Western hotel locations worldwide, improved navigation, access to a Best Western Rewards account, integrated TripAdvisor reviews and improved Bing mapping capabilities.

Best Western to Go for the iPad incorporates TripIt so travellers can also add their TripIt itineraries and travel plans directly into the app.

“We are seeing many more bookings from tablets, and we know that this will continue to increase. With more than 100 million people worldwide using iPads, the new ‘Best Western To Go’ iPad app helps Best Western meet the growing needs of travelers who research and book travel with their iPad,” said Dorothy Dowling, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Best Western International.

“No matter where they are iPad users will now be able to take advantage of deeper partner integration with TripIt, TripAdvisor and Bing throughout their ‘Best Western To Go’ experience.” Dowling added.
