Avis Rent a Car has been selected as the exclusive car hire partner for Eurostar passengers, including Eurostar frequent traveller members, as part of a three-year deal. The new agreement offers Eurostar travellers special benefits and can be conveniently booked through Eurostar.com or both the Eurostar and Avis call centres.

In celebration of the new, exclusive partnership, Avis will offer Eurostar customers a 10% discount on car rental across Europe and £10 off Avis ancillary products for rentals before 30 June.

Eurostar passengers will benefit from Avis’ existing expertise of providing car hire at rail stations, gained through the extensive network it has already established in France, and its successful partnership with SNCF.

Avis has access to over 179 rail stations in France and enjoys exclusive presence at Ashford and Ebbsfleet rail stations in the UK. The introduction of its “Mise a Disposition” - meaning “always available” - service is an example of Avis’ existing knowledge base being utilised for Eurostar customers.

Modelled on a service originally set up for SNCF customers, Eurostar travellers will be able to collect their keys and documents from an SNCF agent if their Avis office is shut upon arrival in France.

Avis will also continue to be the exclusive car hire partner for Eurostar’s Loyalty Programmes, allowing “Carte Blanche” and “Carte Classique” customers to earn and spend Eurostar Frequent Traveller points.
