Avis UK has announced the launch of its new loyalty scheme, Avis Preferred.
Under the tiered scheme, customers will be rewarded with extra financial benefits across Europe, as well as the highest levels of service, offering them the best possible rental experience.
The improved Avis Preferred scheme is an evolution of Avis’ longstanding speed of service programme and entitles loyal customers to benefits including priority service at Avis branches, a dedicated telephone membership service, as well as Avis’ three minute promise – a guarantee that customers will receive their keys and rental agreement within three minutes of arriving at the Avis branch.
To join the free Avis Preferred scheme, all customers need to do is sign up and they can start using it straight away.
After their second rental, they will receive money off vouchers and exclusive offers as well as free car hire for the weekend with their third booking, and complimentary upgrades and free second driver cover after five rentals.
Customers who rent ten times or more within a 12 months period will become an Avis Preferred First Plus member, which entitles them to a guaranteed single upgrade at airports and railway stations, double upgrade on weekends upon availability and free additional driver and car guarantee if a reservation is made at least 48 hours in advance.

“Other loyalty schemes require that customers complete 10 or even 20 rentals before they receive practical offers. By contrast, the Avis loyalty scheme rewards both leisure and corporate customers from their second rental.”
